Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 July 2026
Welcome to Pain Relief Acupuncture. By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Appointments
All new patients must attend an Initial Consultation before booking follow-up appointments.
Appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. Please arrive promptly to ensure you receive the full duration of your appointment.
If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying subsequent patients. The full appointment fee may still apply.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours’ notice, calculated from the scheduled appointment start time.
Cancellations or requests to reschedule made with less than 48 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, may be charged up to the full appointment fee where the reserved time cannot be filled.
If an appointment is booked within 48 hours of its start time, the cancellation period has already begun. By completing the booking, you accept that the appointment fee may be retained if you cancel, request to reschedule or do not attend and the reserved time cannot be filled.
Genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances will be considered individually.
For treatment packages, late cancellations and missed appointments may count as used sessions. Refunds for partially used packages are calculated by deducting completed or chargeable sessions at the standard individual rate applicable when the package was purchased.
If Pain Relief Acupuncture cancels your appointment, you may reschedule, receive account credit or receive a full refund.
Treatment Packages
Treatment packages are available only to patients who have completed an Initial Consultation with Pain Relief Acupuncture within the previous six months. If more than six months have passed, a 6 Month Re-Assessment appointment will be required before purchasing a package.
Treatment packages must be paid in full when booking the first appointment.
Package appointments are subject to the same 48-hour cancellation policy. A late cancellation or missed appointment may be treated as a used session where the reserved appointment cannot be filled.
If you cancel a partially used package, completed and chargeable sessions will be deducted at the standard individual appointment rate that applied when the package was purchased. The remaining balance will then be refunded. (For example, if the standard follow-up rate was £55 when the package was purchased, £55 will be deducted for each completed or chargeable session.)
A package refund will not exceed the amount originally paid, and cancelling a package will not result in an additional payment becoming due.
Package sessions must be used within 6 months of the first session booked. Extensions may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
If Pain Relief Acupuncture is unable to provide the remaining sessions, you may reschedule where possible or receive a refund for the unused package balance.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods will be displayed during the booking process.
Treatment Suitability
Acupuncture may not be appropriate for everyone.
Treatment recommendations are made following an assessment of your medical history and current symptoms.
Pain Relief Acupuncture reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment where it is considered unsafe or clinically inappropriate.
Medical Information
Patients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their medical history, medications and any changes to their health.
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment safety.
